Jack Lynch is the editor of The Age of Johnson: A Scholarly Annual, published by AMS Press.
The Age of Johnson welcomes contributions on all aspects of the literature, history, and culture of the period of Samuel Johnson's literary career and primary influence, roughly the years from 1730 to 1810. Contributions should not usually exceed 12,000 words; the style of documentation should follow the latest edition of The Chicago Manual of Style. Authors who would like to contribute to or suggest books for review should write to Jack Lynch, Editor, The Age of Johnson, Department of English, Rutgers University, 360 M. L. King Blvd., Newark, NJ 07102.
Electronic submissions are welcome, even encouraged; still, it's best to E-mail me with a heads-up that something is coming. I'll acknowledge the receipt of all articles and reviews by E-mail.
A style sheet is now available on-line.
Please send questions to Jack Lynch at jlynch@andromeda.rutgers.edu. Note that all subscription correspondence, however, should go directly to AMS Press at
